The third part of the Career transition process is the Job Search. Many believe that sending a few letters to the agencies with the biggest advertisements in the phone book is all that's needed.
Many wrongly assume that finding a new job is simply a matter of just answering the right advertisement. Unfortunately nothing could be further from the truth. The job market is pyramid shaped, at the top very few positions are advertised, and for those that are, there are several hundred applicants.
Only those who prepare and sell themselves to their full potential will be short listed. Only those with the most professional approach will be offered the job!
The objective in this stage is to obtain the interviews for which you have been preparing. We commence with a concerted, concentrated operation covering the six sources from which jobs are obtained and using our facilities to cover a large proportion of jobs not available through normal channels.
Depending on the option chosen, we assist in preparation before interview and de-briefs afterwards. We still give steering advice at the time of job offers.
Advice and guidance is available throughout the time of the programme. As appropriate, letters/email formats are prepared for responses to Advertisement, introductions to Agencies and Executive Search Consultants in addition to Cold Canvass and the un-advertised market. Mailing lists prepared, advertisements are responded to and applications are dealt with promptly and professionally.
This concentrated operation covers all career possibilities and will help present you to as many employers as is possible, for you to achieve your goal.
